M22 ResurFX is a fibre laser and is the only true fractional non-ablative skin resurfacing technology available. It uses a very advanced CoolScan scanner for non-sequential scanning and continuous cooling for safety and protection of the skin.

How it works.
The CoolScan scanner delivers up to 500 fractional spots per square centimetre into the treatment area. This creates up to 500 microscopic thermal wounds each surrounded by untreated tissue. The untreated tissue acts as a barrier to infection and as a reservoir for rapid wound-healing of the treated tissue. The stratum corneum (outermost layer of the epidermis) remains intact so barrier function is maintained.

What you can expect.
Some redness and swelling may occur that will be temporary and the treatment result will become apparent over the following 4 to 5 weeks. Three to five treatments may be required for optimal results depending on the condition being treated.
