Your Bespoke Lactic facial will begin with a four-step cleanse created by Ultraceuticals to ensure that your skin has been thoroughly prepared for the treatment. The cleanse is followed by an in depth skin analysis to asitane whether your skin is appropriate for the treatment and any areas of concern.
The peel itself is only on for three minutes for your first facial, building to 10 minutes over time. The peel is removed with soothing cool water and it is normal to experience slight tingling while the peel is on. A warm towel is then placed over the face and neck and day or night products are applied. During the 60 minute treatment you will enjoy a stress busting face, neck and décolleté massage with a mask application.
The hero ingredient of a Bespoke Lactic Peel is lactic acid. Derived from sour milk, lactic acid is known for its ability to stimulate hyaluronic acid in the skin, supporting collagen synthesis, plumping and firming the skin, as well as smoothing and refining the skin’s texture. It’s suitable for all skin types and will be specifically tailored to suit each client’s skin concern with an active ingredient added into the peel. It’s great for hydration and collagen stimulation, so it’s best suited for dehydrated and mature skin types.
We recommend a course of four to six Bespoke Lactic Peels and appropriate home care to obtain optimal results.
Directly after a Bespoke Lactic Peel your skin will feel tight and look smooth. After one to three days you may start to experience varying degrees of peeling and flaking, usually only lasting one to two days. It is important that if you do peel to pat your skin with moisturiser throughout the day and wear SPF 30+ everyday. All exfoliating products and active’s such as Vitamin A (Retinol) and Aha’s are not to be used for four to five days post peel.
You must avoid Vitamin A (Retinol), AHAs, BHAs and any kind of exfoliation for four to five days. Avoid any peels, microdermabrasion, Laser, IPL or Skin Needling on the area for two weeks.
